According to data from Brand Finance as part of its Top 100 Brand Guardians Index, marketing CEOs have a reputation score of 8.32, compared to 8.21 for CEOs with a finance background, 7.89 for those with a computer science background and 7.80 for those with a background in economics. Take this as a sign from the universe to go for that promotion and begin your journey to the top!

Marketers are optimistic about the sector
According to the CIM report ‘The CMO 50’, 52% of marketing directors feel that the marketing sector is stronger now than it was five years ago, while 71% of in-house marketers said that the pandemic has had a positive impact on the perception of their brand.
