Marketing Communications Manager - London Area

Salary: 50k plus benefits

Our client is a leading supplier of premium and luxury products to the Architecture and Interior Design Community.

They are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Communications Manager with a focus on content marketing, copy and press to lead their communications and content strategy. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping their brand narrative through compelling written materials. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for design, and a proven track record of executing successful marketing campaigns.

The role:

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and confident person to become the Marketing spokesperson, voice, and character of our client's business.
This person needs to appreciate and understand the design, architectural, and building sectors as much as possible and be willing to lead with competent written case studies, blogs, and other business-related communications and internal comms, plus, capture the softer side of their culture in terms of people, community, and events.
This role will see you put content at the heart of the business by developing the content strategy and executing it across the web, sales enablement tools like case studies, social media, PR, and events.

You will help drive the creative direction and curation of their events working with an event coordinator and the senior event lead.The role is located in the London Clerkenwell head office 4 days a week , one day from home, with some travel to other offices from time to time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop an integrated content strategy that tells the brand story in a way that reflects brand identity and objectives with the aim of generating new leads, increasing brand awareness, and customer engagement aligned with the marketing strategy.
Generate ideas for content topics and campaigns to maximize reach and engagement with target audiences.
Create, curate, and manage high-quality written content, including articles, blogs, website copy, presentations, case studies, event assets, PR materials, social media posts, and more.
Ensure that all external and internal-facing content is consistent and supporting the brand.
Work with sales and external suppliers and partners to research content stories and case studies.
Produce content that resonates with the target audiences at every stage of the sales cycle.
Report on content performance, KPIs, and ROI. Deep dive into the analytics to see what’s working and what’s not, then using that insight to tweak our approach, improving engagement and conversions.
Manage the PR agency: work with them to develop a PR plan and measure the main KPIs to ensure ROI.
Work alongside the event coordinator and the event lead to support the conceptualization and articulation of events. Our client exhibit at 4 large events per year (e.g., Clerkenwell Design Week) with the intention of doing some smaller webinars. You will support with ideas for the event, helping to steer the physical look and feel and content for the event, choosing what is showcased, which suppliers to support and project management any event assets in terms of written material.

SKILLS:

Be a great communicator and established communications person and writer across short and long-form copy for all marketing channels.
Have experience of a broad marketing communications role previously including content.
A proven team player who likes working with key stakeholders and partners to achieve results.
Be highly articulate and have a confident personality.
Extremely organised and tech-savvy viz our web platforms & systems.
Prepared to muck in and support the business (marketing is our front line).
Experience or an understanding of the design, architectural, and building sectors.
Event experience would be a nice to have

Salary: up to £50k + benefits

Please note this is a 4 days a week office role (Clerkenwell) , with one day from home
