Talent doesn't have a type. Neither do we.

Great talent comes from everywhere. The problem is a recruitment process that was never designed to find it.

Recruitment has a bias problem. Not always intentional, but it is there: in the language of job ads, in the weight given to certain universities, in the snap judgements made before someone has even walked through the door.

We are not going to pretend we are perfect. But we have built our process around reducing bias wherever we can, and we are specific about how.

What we actually do.

Blind CVs, when it matters.

If you want candidates assessed purely on skills and experience, we offer a blind CV service on request. Identifying information is removed before anything reaches you. No names, no indicators of background. Just the work. It is also built into our task based shortlist service as standard, so if you choose that route, fairer assessment comes with it.

Inclusive job ads.

We write every job ad in neutral, considered language. No jargon, no coded wording that quietly puts people off before they have even applied. If the brief you send us is not quite there, we will say so.

We go where the talent is.

We advertise across a range of platforms and communities to reach as diverse a pool of candidates as possible. If you only post in one place, you only find one kind of person.

Skills first, always.

Our selection process is based on skills and experience. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, sexual orientation, disability or religious beliefs. That is not a legal disclaimer. It is just how we work.

Reasonable adjustments.

If a candidate needs adjustments to interview fairly, additional time, alternative formats, access to questions in advance, we will liaise with you to make it happen. Everyone deserves an interview where they can actually show what they have got.

Diversity monitoring.

We are building a clearer picture of who we are reaching and who we are not. Participation is always optional and completely anonymous. It is for learning, not reporting.

Free resources.

We share free guides on our social channels covering everything from writing a strong CV to nailing a job interview. Because missing out on a great career just because no one showed you the ropes is not good enough.
